How SafeCoin separates provider-hosted crypto purchases from Practice trading—and what data each uses.
Purchases and Practice trading
Crypto purchases take place in Transak’s hosted checkout and are delivered directly to your self-custody wallet. Market and limit orders, Portfolio, and Orders are Practice only and use virtual USD. SafeCoin does not accept fiat deposits or custody crypto.
Data minimization
We store an email, a one-way password hash, and account activity. When you start a purchase, your public wallet address and email are sent to Transak. SafeCoin does not store payment details, identity documents, recovery phrases, or private keys.
Account access
Single-use five-minute magic links, database-backed sessions, and explicit confirmation before redemption.
Market data
CoinGecko is called from the server. Every response carries source, timestamp, and stale state.
Purchase fees and Practice costs
Transak shows purchase and network fees before approval. Practice fills use a visible 0.10% demo fee and 0.05% simulated spread; synthetic depth never sets the execution price.
Service status
Health, readiness, and product-mode endpoints are available without invented uptime claims.
Risk disclosure
Crypto purchases use real funds and may be irreversible. Practice results do not predict real performance; liquidity, latency, slippage, taxes, and market impact differ in live trading.
